Zubli Zainordin Delivering ~ After The Last Chapter Of A Scholarly Book

A Piece Of Information Sharing
In A Preparation For Book Editors Meeting Malaysian Scholars Soon...

Initially, Yayasan Pembangunan Buku Negara, the (National Book Development Foundation) has set up a target of achieving 1,000 published books annually.

There are growing numbers of scholars in all public and private universities and colleges in Malaysia.

Editors are available aplenty to make this target happened.

Looks good? Sounds good? Yes!

But, has there been 3 such books? Not merely.

Why?

A dissertation, or a thesis, or a scholarly paper, each is not a book. There are aspects to be understood as to why individual scholars are not publishing at least a book yet.

Editors become scary meeting scholars, to reach a meeting point of agreement of the final product ~ A Scholarly Book.

So, after realizing these, Yayasan Pembangunan Buku Negara, has assemble 12 Book Experts, to conduct a workshop for both Editors and Scholars.

I am one of the 12, identified to deliver points to make this workshop a total success.

We shall conduct about 3 workshops for the Editors first, before conducting a few for the scholars.

I shall be focusing on:

Appendices, References, Bibliography, and Indexes.

2:30 to 4:30 PM, 15th Of April, 2009.

I prefer, you share with me some information so that the delivery shall be awesome, yet fruitful.

I thank you.
